Directions to 22 Academy Street,  Arlington, MA 

 

From Route 128 
  Take Route 2 East to Route 60 (Pleasant St) to Arlington Center  (Mass Ave).
  Turn left on Mass. Ave. Academy St. is 1/4 mile on left next to Town Hall

From Harvard Square   
Take Mass. Ave to Arlington Center (Pleasant St) continue straight and
  Academy St. is 1/4 mile on the left next to the Town Hall  

MBTA

From Lechmere Station 
  Take the #80 bus  to Arlington Center, walk 1/4 mile up Mass Avenue       

  towards Lexington,  crossing over the Route  60 junction to Academy

  Street (about 2 blocks on the left). 

From Harvard Square or Alewife Station 
Take the # 77 bus,  which  runs weekdays and weekends. 
  The #350 (but not the 351) runs all days from Alewife but may not stop in
  Arlington Center on weekends.

Parking in the area

 

Parking is available on nearby streets in the area.

​

There are two public parking lots in Arlington Center. The larger one is located behind Mass Ave with access on Mystic Street and also on Medford Street. The Medford Street access is across from the Regent Theatre, which is located at 7 Medford Street in Arlington. It's a 10-minute walk to AFD Theatre.

The second public parking lot is behind 645 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington. It's a 6-minute walk to AFD Theatre.

On weekends and evenings, parking is available in the lot at the Arlington Center for the Arts (directly across the street), and at the Town Hall.
